The Asian power sector has a strategic role to play in driving a global net-zero future and will be critical for the world to meet its Paris Agreement goals. While a growing number of countries have ratcheted up their climate ambitions, investors’ pressure is also mounting on businesses to ramp up action as the corporate management of climate-related risks and opportunities is a key element of sustainable companies. This event will look at how Asian power companies are putting in place practical approaches to managing climate risks and opportunities, transitioning to a net-zero economy and staying competitive in international capital markets.
