IETA LIVE CARBON MARKETS – IETA GHG MARKET SENTIMENT SURVEY 2022 LAUNCH EVENT – THE AMERICAS EDITION

Since 2006, IETA has been surveying its large and diverse membership on the state and future of carbon markets around the world. The survey gives the most complete picture of sentiment in the carbon market, and the likely emission trading developments we can expect in the future. This year’s edition reflects on trends and developments that characterized carbon markets in the last 12 months. In the aftermath of a momentous COP for carbon markets, the findings cover expectations for carbon pricing and ETS around the world, the impact of geopolitical tensions and economic turbulence, the evolution of the voluntary market, and the operationalisation of Article 6. Results from this year’s survey will be released and discussed.
