IETA Launches ETS2 National Transposition Tracker to Boost Transparency Across Europe
IETA has unveiled its ETS2 National Transposition Tracker, offering real-time updates on the implementation of the EU’s new carbon trading system for buildings, road transport, and selected industrial sectors.
The tracker monitors the progress of EU Member States and EEA countries as they transpose ETS2 into national law ahead of its entry into force on 1 January 2027. Users can explore an interactive map showing the current status of each country. Where national transposition is complete, hovering over a country provides a direct link to the relevant national law. A complementary table offers additional details and insights.
This tool is designed to enhance transparency and accessibility, helping stakeholders stay informed on the evolving legislative landscape of carbon markets.
