Carbon markets are essential to assist African countries to deliver their Paris goals. From carbon taxes to transacting under Article 6 of the Paris agreement, countries across Africa are deeply engaged in building capacity, formulating strategy and implementing new regulations.
IETA's inaugural Africa Carbon Market Dialogue will gather regulators, development agencies and the private sector in Cape Town to increase ambition, link markets and discuss the new era of carbon markets.
Discussion will include how to unlock financial flows into Africa, how to compete on the global stage, and how to take advantage of emerging sources of demand such as CORSIA, Article 6 and domestic programmes. And above all, how do we can do this whilst ensuring equity and a just transition for all.
Joins us for an informative discussion with African leaders, sharing global insights and a shared collaborative focus on urgency and action.
