IETA GLOBAL Carbon Market Dialogue

Background information

As part of our 2025 Regional Carbon Market Dialogue Series and to close off the year, we are thrilled to host the IETA GLOBAL Carbon Market Dialogue — an exclusive gathering of carbon market practitioners, experts, and government representatives from around the world. 

This half day dialogue will take place on 4 December in Paris, France, linked to the IEA-IEA-EPRI Workshop on GHG Emissions Trading (2-4 December). 

This IETA organised Dialogue is held in under Chatham House Rules and free of charge (limited capacity). Structured around highly interactive sessions, it offers a unique platform to learn and exchange with leading experts, deepen your carbon market knowledge, and expand your network of influential leaders. Together, we aim to drive bold climate action and scalable innovations. Attendees can look forward to networking opportunities and the latest insights on these topics and more:

   . Progress on harmonization of carbon accounting partnerships (COP30 highlights, ISO-GHGP collaboration, etc.)

   . International, government, academic and industry-led work on product-level carbon intensity standards
