In 2018, nations are participating in the Talanoa Dialogue, a conversation among Parties to the Paris Agreement aimed at better understanding the scale of the climate challenge, and how to achieve our goals.
As an accredited organisation IETA participated in the Dialogue, but we were keen also to demonstrate that our members understand the challenge and are committed to meeting it. At the Katowice COP, IETA members presented their own contributions to the Talanoa Dialogue, telling their own stories of ambition and achievement and demonstrating that business can play a central role in keeping global temperature increases to less than 2 degrees C.
