For 12 years, IETA has been the premier organizer of carbon market trade fairs and conferences around the world. Carbon Expo is the largest annual gathering of the global market, with Ministers, CEOs and Key Negotiators regularly among the keynote speakers. In addition, IETA sponsors other major carbon events in North America, Asia, Africa and Latin America. IETA also convenes workshops and roundtables in centers of the carbon market worldwide.

Africa Carbon Forum 2013

July 3-5 2013, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire

Welcome to the 5th Africa Carbon Forum, taking place from the 3-5 July 2013 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast!

With over 750 delegates, 20 Exhibitors and 80 countries represented from Africa and around the world, the Africa Carbon Forum is the leading African platform for carbon investments in Africa, Energy, Climate Finance and Clean Technologies. Composed of a trade fair and Conference, it is the place to discuss the latest development in the carbon market and how the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and other mitigation mechanisms can be successful in Africa. The Africa Carbon Forum includes matchmaking and deal facilitation sessions where carbon project developers can showcase their projects to investors and carbon buyers.

The Africa Carbon Forum brings together main actors and stakeholders from the carbon markets: project owners, project developers, representatives from economic sectors relevant for the CDM; national climate change focal points, national Clean Development Mechanism offices, Investment Promotion Agencies, Designated National Authorities (DNAs); service providers, financial institutions and intermediary companies and representatives from several multilateral agencies.

Latin American Carbon Forum 2013

The Latin American and Caribbean Carbon Forum (LACCF) is a free of charge regional conference and exhibition platform established in 2006 to promote knowledge and information sharing while facilitating business opportunity environments among main carbon market stakeholders.

Building on the success of six previous editions, the 2013 Latin American & Caribbean Carbon Forum (LACCF) will be held in Rio de Janeiro from 28-30 August 2013.
